Every life is unique. Why should funerals be any different?

A beach farewell with family and friends
Take a walk along the family's favourite beach, share a few stories, and scatter your persons ashes into the water as the sun sets on the horizon.
Hire out the local church or town hall
Get family and friends together at the local townhall or community centre and fill the walls with amazing memories. Run the service yourselves, or select the perfect celebrant.
A backyard barbeque with family and friends
Put on a picnic or barbecue in your backyard for a relaxed, informal memorial and raise a glass in their honour.
Do nothing at all
If a memorial isn’t right for you, you could simply scatter your loved one’s ashes or display them at home. There might be a time that feels right later for a small memorial.

For as long as we’ve lived, humans have searched for ways to commemorate the lives of people we’ve loved. Whatever your beliefs, a memorial is an important element in saying goodbye.

However, a farewell doesn’t need to look a certain way. It certainly doesn’t need to look like a traditional service in a funeral parlour.

At Bare, we want you to say goodbye your own way.

For families wanting to arrange a memorial themselves, we provide a high quality cremation-only service, and allow you the freedom to plan your own farewell. For those that would like some support, we’ll pair you with one of our dedicated celebrants who’ll plan and conduct a memorial service that does right by your person.

In either case, our promise to you is that we’ll provide the highest possible care, for the lowest possible price.

We guide you through the process, every step of the way.

Trycia is passionate about supporting families through the process of planning a service for their loved one. She believes a memorial ceremony is an opportunity to embrace the grief and sadness that they are experiencing, but it also provides an opportunity to celebrate a loved one’s life. With each ceremony, she spends time with the family to work through what is important to them in relation to the service: Where they would like to have the ceremony? Who will be involved? What photos and music? And how much time they would like to talk about their loved one. Trycia is committed to giving a person a send-off that truly honours their life. But at the same time, provide a ceremony that allows family and friends to be fully connected to their sadness and loss, then leave feeling that they have celebrated their loved one’s life – which can help with the healing. She has been involved with planning services large and small. Trycia believes the type and content of the service should reflect the loved one being celebrated, so she will listen to what is important to you, and make that happen. Trycia also has a Diploma of Professional Counselling, with a major in Grief Counselling.
